The Restore Rewards Club is owned and operated by Australian Pharmaceutical Industries Pty Ltd (API).
1. Definitions
‘membership card’ means a card issued to members of the Restore Rewards Club;
‘participating stores’ means Pharmacist Advice stores participating in the Restore Rewards Club who supply goods and services in respect of which various rewards and benefits may be offered to and redeemed by members subject to the terms and conditions outlined below;
‘Pharmacist Advice’ means a pharmacy store operating under the Pharmacist Advice brand, some of which participate in the Restore Rewards Club program;
‘Restore Rewards Club’ means a membership program offered by participating Pharmacist Advice stores in which a Restore Rewards Club member receives certain rewards and benefits in accordance with these Terms and Conditions;
‘rewards and benefits’ means rewards (including rewards points), discounts, promotions and special offers available from participating Pharmacist Advice stores as offered from time to time subject to any conditions as notified from time to time.
2. Acceptance of terms
2.1 As a Restore Rewards Club member, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions (‘Terms and Conditions’), as varied by API from time to time.
2.2 Application for, and/or use of your Restore Rewards Club membership card, is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2.3 Some Pharmacist Advice stores may opt out from some or all Restore Rewards Club special offers and promotions, which may include the Pharmacist Advice store where you are a member of the Restore Rewards Club. To check whether the store (where you are a member) is participating in a particular promotion or special offer, ask a staff member in store.
3. Membership
3.1 To become a member of the Restore Rewards Club you must apply in person at a participating store. You will become a member once we accept your application and issue a membership card to you.
3.2 All members of the Restore Rewards Club must reside in Australia. For members under the age of eighteen (18) years, permission from a parent or guardian must be obtained in person (in store) before joining the Restore Rewards Club.
3.3 API reserves the right to refuse any application for Restore Rewards Club membership.
3.4 Membership cards are not credit or charge cards, are not transferable (except that you may permit members of your immediate family to use your membership card) and remain API’s property.
3.5 You must notify API immediately of any:
- a) change of address;
- b) lost or stolen membership card, or of any unauthorised use of a membership card. We may charge $2.50 per membership card replacement;
- c) unauthorised transaction in relation to your Restore Rewards Club membership; or
- d) dispute relating to Restore Rewards Club rewards and benefits as soon as possible after you become aware of the dispute. We will endeavour in good faith to resolve the dispute.
3.6 API reserves the right to verify the identity of the membership card bearer.
4. Earning reward points
4.1 You may earn and redeem reward points at the participating store where you joined the Restore Rewards Club program (your ‘nominated store’). You can check your membership details and points balance online at https://pharmacistadvice.com. au/member-login/
4.2 When you present your membership card when making a purchase at your nominated store, one (1) reward point will be credited to your Restore Rewards Club account for every whole AUD$1 spent (inclusive of GST) in the transaction – excluding any amounts payable for prescriptions, scheduled medicines or products we deem and advertise as being excluded and products where the grant of points would otherwise be prohibited by law (‘excluded goods’).
4.3 A minimum of AUD$1 (inclusive of GST) must be spent in a single transaction to qualify for the earning of a reward point.
4.4 When you accrue a total of one hundred (100) reward points you will be entitled to a discount of AUD$5 on any one (1) future transaction at your nominated store (excluding any amounts payable for excluded goods).
4.5 Bonus reward points may be offered from time to time at API’s discretion during special offers or promotions in relation to selected products or services.
4.6 You must present your membership card at the time of purchase to earn reward points and reward points cannot be earned retrospectively.
4.7 Reward points cannot be granted to or redeemed by non-Restore Rewards Club members.
4.8 Your reward points will expire after 24 months, commencing on the date on which the reward points are earned, unless redeemed earlier.
4.9 Reward points may not be redeemed for cash and have no cash value nor may they be redeemed for store credit. Reward points cannot be exchanged, transferred to other participating Restore Rewards Club members, sold, bartered, and otherwise dealt with other than in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
4.10 From time to time, Restore Rewards Club vouchers may be issued and if a rewards voucher becomes lost or stolen it will not be replaced.
4.11 The redemption value of rewards points may be varied at API’s discretion. Any variation shall not affect points issued prior to the date on which the variation takes effect.
5. General conditions
5.1 Rewards points must be surrendered in store upon redemption, and may only be used in one transaction and may only be redeemed once, unless expressly stated otherwise. For the avoidance of doubt, Restore Reward Club rewards points will not be earned on a transaction (or for the portion of the transaction) where points have been redeemed in part payment of the transaction.
5.2 API may, at its discretion terminate or suspend your Restore Rewards Club membership if you, or a member of your immediate family who uses your membership card;
- a) fail to comply with these Terms and Conditions;
- b) abuse any privilege accorded to you as a member of the Restore Rewards club;
- c) supply any false or misleading information or make any false or misleading misrepresentations to us or to any participating store in connection with the Restore Rewards Club; or
- d) engage in fraudulent conduct or improper use of the membership card.
5.3 You may terminate your Restore Rewards Club membership at any time by contacting your nominated store. On receiving such notice, we will note your membership details on the database as inactive.
5.4 Subject to applicable law, API reserves the right to make any changes at any time, without prior notice and at our absolute discretion, to these Terms and Conditions and the number of participating stores. This includes changes that have or may have the effect of reducing or eliminating the number of rewards and benefits offered, or the period during which rewards points may be earned or redeemed.
5.5 To the extent permissible by law, API will not be liable for any errors, omissions, delays or disruptions in the operation of the Restore Rewards Club program including products purchased or redeemed, or any losses thereof.
5.6 API will not be responsible for any issues or errors caused by it or any third party (including third parties who may provide technology or other services to API). Third parties who may be involved in the program do not have any authority, express or implied, to make any representation, warranty or statement on behalf of API and API accepts no liability in respect of such representations, warranties or statements.
5.7 Restore Rewards Club points can only be earned and redeemed by the holder of a Restore Rewards membership card (or their immediate family) in respect of their personal shopping. Restore Rewards Club points cannot be earned on purchases of commercial quantities of goods or services, or any purchases which are for a commercial purpose, including the resale of goods, as determined by API. What will constitute a commercial quantity may depend on the type of goods purchased and will be subject to API’s discretion.
5.8 API’s Privacy Policy forms part of these Terms and Conditions, and will prevail over these Terms and Conditions if they are inconsistent in any respect.
5.9 In accordance with API’s Privacy Policy (available at http://www.api.net. au/privacy-policy/), by applying for and/or using a Restore Rewards Club membership card, each member agrees to the collection, use and disclosure of their personal information, and consent to receiving information and materials via email, SMS, our digital services and other means (at API’s discretion), including marketing communications and advertising. You can contact us at any time (via your nominated store or by clicking on the ‘unsubscribe’ link in emails) to opt out of marketing communications.
5.10 Information about members, including information provided during the sign-up process and information about the receipt of rewards and benefits by members, will be held in our internal database (‘our Database‘) which will contain information about you and your use of your membership.
5.11 API may also engage contractors to use the information from our Database to manage and administer the Restore Rewards Club program.
5.12 Each member consents and agrees to the provision of the information provided during the sign-up process and authorises us to store and use that information, for the purposes stated in these Terms and Conditions.
5.13 Rewards points cannot be combined with any other discount offer.
5.14 Rewards points are not valid on gift card purchases.
5.15 To the extent permitted by law API is not liable for any rewards and/or benefits not being available for any reason whatsoever. In addition, and without limiting the foregoing, to the extent permitted by law API is not liable for;
- a) any errors, omissions, delays or disruptions in the operation of the Restore Rewards Club including products purchased or redeemed, or any losses thereof;
- b) a failure by you to take advantage of a reward and/or benefits because you have not complied with the participating store’s conditions (including limited time offers) for receiving the reward or benefit;
- c) any failure by you to notify your nominated store that you are a member and entitled to reward and benefit offers; or
- d) if you fail to receive rewards or benefits because the store where you became a Restore Rewards member ceases to be a participating store in the Restore Rewards Club.
